Sadly, with over 80 animals in need of support at our rescue, our 2025 donations only reached $1,500 of the $70,000+ that it requires to care for the animals. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SURVIVE!
We get called to save animals who were neglected, abused, starving and discarded, and left with no one to care for them. When we get the call, we come, we save, but the rescue isn;t just the moment they are in eminent danger. It's a lifelong commitment to ensure the rrecovery, health, continued care, and quality of life for each and every animal. That care requires medical and dental support, body and foot recovery and health maintenance. It also requires everyday necessities like food, shelter, and physical labor to ensure a heathy habitat.

Our rescue needs your help!
Our rescue animals require shelter f,rom the eleents, fencing to keep them on the property, contained in appropriate areas, and separated from each other. If you or your company have the skills and can donate materials to help, we would love to hear from you!
Our rescue goes through enormous amounts of round bales of coastal hay, grain, supplements, salt, minerals and mash. Proper feed and nutrition is essential to their recovery and care. These are staples our animals cannot live without. We appreciate feed support through direct feed suppliers or vouchers to Putnam Feed.
All animals require grooming, wellness care, and standard tack ie: turnout blankets, fly sheets, harnesses, feeders, bedding etc. These supplies are essential in their daily care. Supplies regularly wear out, or can be broken or damaged by the animals themselves.
We appreciate monetary donations, direct vendor donations, or vouchers to Putnam Feed and Tractor Supply.
Our family run rescue never has enough hands! High School Students looking for Community Service Hours can volunteer on Sundays to help with farm chores. Must have permission from parent or legal guardian, attend one day orientation training, sign a waiver, and be willihaveng to get dirty and work hard. Responsibilities include cleaning stalls, feeding, watering, grooming, and helping with rescue tours. A minimum of 20 hours is required for Community Service Sign off.
Rescue work is 24 hours a day 7 days a week! Sign up to volunteer and help one day a week or more!
Cleaning Volunteer: Clean stalls, clean water buckets and troughs, organize tack and supplies.
Grooming Volunteer: Brush animals. brush/braid mane and tail, clean feet.
Resource Volunteer: Make contact with potential donor companies to secure 501 C 3 Funding for the Rescue.
Onsite volunteers must be an adult 25 years or older, sign a waiver, and be willing to get dirty and work hard.
